Senior horticulturist and olive advisor for Modern Olives Leandro Ravetti was the only Australian to attend the recent World Olive Symposium held in Turkey.

Leandro presented a paper on recent developments of mechanisation in the Australian olive industry. The world Olive Symposium is held every four years and is attended by many of the worlds leading olive scientists and researchers. Leandro was able to further face to face contact and dialogue with many olive researchers from around the world.
